You've probably thought about it once or twice

As a subscriber to the Henrico Newsflash email, I bet you’ve read a few of our articles this year and thought, “I didn’t realize that until now,” or “That was important information – I’m glad I learned more about it.”

And maybe you’ve also thought, “I can afford to donate $5 a month to help support that type of journalism. Heck, I just spent three times that much on an extended warranty for my new riding vacuum cleaner.”

But then you didn’t because, well, life. You had to pick up your kids and take them to soccer/ballet/chess/football/spelling bee practice. You had to finish that work project/plan that Zoom meeting/pack for your weeklong conference in Las Vegas. You got sidetracked building a treehouse/outlining your roof with Christmas lights/delousing your chihuahua. I get it! We’ve all been there.

If that sounds like you, good news: it feels like today’s the day!

I’ll even make you a deal: If you donate any amount of money to support our work today, I won’t send another one of these annoying fundraising emails this year. (You can hold me to it, I promise.)
