That unique art brightening Henrico parks? Chalk it up to county artist
One day last year, after witnessing a bumper crop of butterflies, caterpillars and chrysalises at the Short Pump Park Pollinator Garden, Henrico Master Gardener Linda McBride was on her way to do routine maintenance on the garden. Before she arrived, sitting right on the pathway into the garden was a large picture of a monarch butterfly drawn in chalk.
