Spanberger blasts Democratic House leadership after her proposed ban on stock sales stalls
U.S. Representative Abigail Spanberger (a Democrat who represents Virginia’s 7th District) blasted her party’s U.S. House of Representatives leadership Friday, after it failed to advance her proposal or any others that would ban members of Congress, their spouses and their dependent children from trading individual stocks.
Henrico moves into low COVID-19 Community Level
Henrico has entered the “low” COVID-19 Community Level rating as of Sept. 29, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The county had been in the “medium” level for the past six weeks and at the “high” level for the 12 weeks prior to that. It was last at the “low” level the week of May 5.
