Henrico supervisors authorize construction of Dorey Park baseball stadium
The Henrico Board of Supervisors Tuesday night authorized a $3.1-million contract with Kenbridge Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of a baseball stadium at Dorey Park to replace existing Field 5 at the complex. The new stadium will resemble RF&P Stadium in Glen Allen and will include 346 covered stadium bleacher seats, an enclosed press box, new baseline and outfield spectator viewing areas, sunken dugouts, new fencing and a new backstop, new LED sports field lighting and a full-color digital score and message display board.

Glen Allen native Taylor St. Jacques, a senior member of the Auburn University equestrian team, was named the National Collegiate Equestrian Association’s Fences Rider of the Year, the organization announced April 27.
