Neighborhood Resource Center expands efforts into Eastern Henrico
As the rising cost of living causes displacement from Richmond into Eastern Henrico, the Neighborhood Resource Center is fostering growth and community change through grassroots community organizing.
The NRC is a nonprofit organization that aims to build relationships, share resources and develop skills to enhance lives in Greater Fulton and Eastern Henrico County, according to its website.
Help select top Henrico Too Smart 2 Start anti-substance use video
Henrico Too Smart 2 Start is seeking the public’s help to determine a winner in its “Influence the Influencers” anti-substance use social media contest for youngsters.
Children and teens were invited to create and submit substance-use prevention videos for the chance to win up to $1,000 in an educational/vocational scholarship or $750 in a technology purchase, and a number of finalists were selected.
