Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden celebrates Glenn Stream restoration
What began as an eight-foot-deep, flood-prone trench has become a flourishing refuge for native plants and wildlife thanks to the hard work of volunteers and staff members at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.
Community members and Ginter officials celebrated the restoration of Glenn Stream during a ribbon-cutting ceremony May 20, marking the end of a seven-year effort to improve the stream’s condition.
