Initial unemployment claims in Henrico fall to lowest weekly level since pandemic’s outset
Only 67 Henrico residents filed first-time unemployment claims during the week of Sept. 5-11, according to the Virginia Employment Commission. It was the fewest first-time filers from the county since the COVID-19 pandemic began and a drop of more than 41% from the previous week.
