High school sports in Henrico

High school sports seasons are just around the corner, and the Henrico Citizen is ready.

Beginning later this fall, we are planning to provide original coverage of high school sports from every Henrico high school – all year long.

We want to spotlight the achievements of as many players and teams in Henrico as we can – and from ALL sports, not just the ones that typically receive the most coverage elsewhere.

But we can’t fully implement our plans without your support. We need resources to pay freelance journalists and photographers to provide this coverage.

We’ve received an initial contribution to help fund our coverage – and this week, all additional donations we receive will be matched, up to $2,500!

Your contribution – of any amount – will help make this coverage possible; 100% of donations will be used to fund this work.
