Henrico’s Top Teachers – 2022
For the 11th time, the Henrico Citizen is proud to highlight the work and efforts of 20 outstanding teachers in Henrico County – from the pre-K through high school levels.
Each year, we solicit nominations of worthy teachers, and each year it’s an impossible task to select only 20 to profile in this section. We intentionally limit the honorees each year to no more than one from any given school, but often that means omitting a number of worthy candidates.
The efforts of classroom teachers never has been more notable than in the post-pandemic era, as they have been asked to adapt and re-adapt, all while handling more responsibilities along the way.
We hope this section serves as an annual reminder of the important work that so many teachers in Henrico do each day – and perhaps as inspiration to the community at large and even other teachers.
To each teacher – whether at public, private, preschool or daycare – we say thanks. You’ve earned a salute from the Henrico community.
