Henrico’s March unemployment rate down from same month in 2023
In keeping with a statewide trend, Henrico County’s March unemployment rate was down when compared with the rate one year earlier. The county witnessed an unemployment rate of 2.5% this March, down from 2.8% last March, according to new data from the Virginia Employment Commission. A total of 4,745 people who were seeking work in the county in March couldn’t find it, the data showed. Click here to read more

During a meeting with members of Virginia’s Congressional delegation April 29, U.S. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy acknowledged mail delivery problems in the Richmond region and pledged to improve the performance of the United States Postal Service’s Richmond Regional Processing and Distribution Center in Sandston.
