Henrico’s 10-year capital improvement plan includes projects estimated to cost $4.6B
Henrico County’s capital improvement needs during the next decade are estimated to total about $4.6 billion, according to the county’s Fiscal Year 2025-2034 Capital Improvement Program. Of that amount, county officials estimate that they’ll need about $2.2 billion for transportation projects and about $863.1 million for education projects.

VDOT to host public hearing about planned Parham/I-64 improvements
The Virginia Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing March 27 at Tucker High School to discuss plans for improving the I-64 interchange at Parham Road and Mayland Road (Exit 181). The meeting will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The project, funded through the agency’s Interstate Operations and Enhancement Program, is estimated to cost about $14.3 million, begin in the spring of 2028 and take about a year to be completed, according to VDOT officials. Click here to read more
