Henrico supervisors advance plans to create housing assistance program for employees
The Henrico Board of Supervisors is moving ahead with a plan to create a housing assistance program for eligible county and school system employees.
At its May 8 meeting, the board introduced an ordinance that would form the Home Purchase Assistance Program, which would offer as much as $25,000 of assistance to eligible county and school board employees and county constitutional officers, in purchasing a primary residence within the county.
Breeze celebrates launch of new service from RIC
Breeze Airways is inaugurating three new nonstop routes in two days from Richmond International Airport, including flights to Los Angeles; Cincinnati; and New York-Islip. The airline also is bringing back summer seasonal nonstop flights to Jacksonville, Florida, and Providence, Rhode Island.
