Henrico School Board’s Marcie Shea to serve on board through breast cancer ‘as long as… health and treatment plan allow’
Henrico School Board Vice Chair Marcie Shea posted a video on Facebook Monday afternoon, sharing that she has stage four breast cancer.
The week before winter break, Shea found out that her breast cancer had returned in an inoperable manner, she said.
VDOT to host online public meeting about Staples Mill Road Small Area Plan Jan. 13
The Virginia Department of Transportation will hold a virtual public meeting for an ongoing study of the Staples Mill Road (Route 33) Small Area Plan in Henrico County Jan. 13, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The purpose of the study is to identify multimodal transportation needs and improvements on Staples Mill Road and other key streets near the Staples Mill Road Amtrak Station in Henrico.
