Three new Henrico County developments are among 24 projects statewide that will receive a share of more than $21 million in Affordable and Special Needs Housing loans, Gov. Ralph Northam announced July 8.

River Mill by HHHunt Named Community of the Year by HBAV
River Mill, a master planned new home community in Glen Allen being built by HHHunt, recently was named Community of the Year by the Home Builders Association of Virginia. The award was presented at HBAV’s 2021 Annual Conference June 26.

An Italian restaurant in the East End and a Vietnamese restaurant on West Broad Street are not keeping food at the correct temperatures. A local cinema received zero violations during its most recent health department inspection.
Henrico resumes bulky waste collection, now through private contractor
Henrico County is resuming residential bulky waste collection and is changing the way the service is provided for most county residents, who will now coordinate with a private contractor to receive pickup.
