Henrico residents echo polls showing immigration is key issue in presidential election

“It’s American soil, and unless you’re invited, like if someone invites you to a party, then you should be removed,” she said as she sat on a couch at the Regency shopping mall on a dreary Wednesday in early March.

Government shutdown settlement includes funds for several Henrico, Metro Richmond projects
Funding for several projects that will impact Henrico County was part of federal legislation that averted a partial government shutdown recently.
The $467.5 billion government shutdown settlement will fund federal departments, including the departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Justice, Energy, Interior, Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development. It also includes nearly $148 million for Virginia-specific projects secured by Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine. Click here to read more
