Byers, Ward honored as Henrico’s Teacher of the Year, First-Year Teacher of the Year
Highland Springs High School science teacher Eric Byers was named the Henrico County Teacher of the Year Tuesday during a virtual ceremony. Three Chopt Elementary School first-grade teacher Leeanne Ward earned the school system’s First-Year Teacher of the Year Award.
Henrico Police identify Near West End shooting victim, seek suspect
Henrico Police Wednesday announced the name of the woman killed in last night’s shooting at the Extended Stay America Hotel in the Near West End. She was 37-year-old Ashley Nicole Tolliver. Police did not say where she lived.
