Henrico experiences most COVID-19 cases on a single day in more than 6 months
Henrico County Thursday witnessed 126 new COVID-19 cases – its most new confirmed cases on a single day in more than six months. The county is now averaging 96 new daily cases during the past seven days.
The county also witnessed three new virus-related hospitalizations for the second straight day but no new deaths.
Fairfield Area Library earns LEED Gold status from Green Building Council
Fairfield Area Library has been awarded LEED Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council for its sustainable design and construction and reduced impact on the environment.
The library, which opened in October 2019 at 1401 North Laburnum Avenue, is Henrico’s 18th government or school building to earn LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.
