Henrico-based McShin Foundation receives $2M from MacKenzie Scott
The McShin Foundation, a Henrico-based recovery community organization, was among eight Virginia-based nonprofits and 361 nationwide that earned donations from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott’s Yield Giving program, whose grants were announced Tuesday morning.
McShin will receive $2 million from the program that it will use to help its efforts to provide access to housing and housing development; incarceration and justice system involvement and mental and behavioral health, according to the Yield Giving website. Click here to read more
