The READ Center needs volunteer adult literacy tutors to help in a teacher-led classroom or one-to-one with an adult learner. Tutor training & instructional resources are provided.
In the Greater Richmond region, over 90,000 adults lack the literacy skills to read a bus schedule, fill out a job application or help their children with homework. You can help lower that number!
Stop by the Tuckahoe Library Friday, November 17 between 9:30-11 am to learn more about volunteering! Coffee and snacks will be available.
