Former Glen Allen High School JV lacrosse coach charged with online sexual offense
A 44-year-old Glen Allen man who coached the boys’ JV lacrosse team at Glen Allen High School this past season was arrested last month and charged with sexual offense with a minor by computer, a Class 6 felony.
Nathan Stanley Poe was arrested June 24 and arraigned in Henrico County General District Court four days later.
Henrico supervisors consider stricter residential noise standards
The Henrico Board of Supervisors heard a presentation about extending certain residential-area noise violations to daytime and voted to reduce personal property taxes for qualifying vehicles at a July 26 meeting.
During a work session, supervisors discussed amending the county’s noise ordinance to expand the violation period for sound-producing devices in residential areas to all hours of the day.
