Federal judge to rule on claim that Henrico School Board violated disability law
U.S. District Judge Henry E. Hudson said in court Thursday morning that he hasn’t seen a case like this one in the entirety of his 20 years working as a federal judge: a federal lawsuit against the Henrico County School Board claiming that the school system denied a student adequate education.
“This is an unusual case,” Hudson said. And, “it’s a very, very important case.”
James River Association program helps citizens track water quality
The James River Association is allowing users of its James River Watch program to sign up for emails to receive daily results of the river’s quality. While the results are posted on the James River Watch website, the JRA is providing another option for citizens to keep track of the water quality. A total of 90 volunteers have signed up to monitor the water quality for 2022, with reports coming from 35 locations.
