Dorey Park Farmers Market owners propose bed-and-breakfast, wedding venue in Varina
The owners of a Varina farm are seeking Henrico County’s permission to allow weddings, events and a bed-and-breakfast at the site.
In early November, Fleur-de-lis Farms owners John and Cappie Montgomery filed a provisional use permit application with the Henrico Planning Department, seeking approval to host agritourism events on their property. Family coding event brings Henrico elementary schoolers into the world of computer science
It may come as a shock for non-tech-savvy parents and grandparents, but their elementary-schoolers are already learning how to code.
On Dec. 9, Henrico elementary school students and their families mastered binary codes, learned about algorithms, maneuvered computer-controlled robots, and were introduced to the basics of cybersecurity during an event held by CodeVA, a computer science education nonprofit. Click here to read more
