‘All Henrico Reads’ event planned for March 30
Henrico County’s long-running literary event All Henrico Reads will return March 30 to present a new novel that explores Chinese American history, intergenerational trauma, resilience, love and family. The event , featuring The Many Daughters of Afong Moy, is sponsored by the Friends of Henrico County Public Library, Henrico County Public Library and Henrico County Public Schools.
Sharpton invited to give Otieno’s eulogy
Rev. Al Sharpton, a civil rights activist, has been invited by the family of Irvo Otieno to eulogize Otieno.
Sharpton’s National Action Network made the announcement Tuesday afternoon.
