Adult education center coming to Regency Square Mall; HCPS horticulture programs to hold holiday plant sales
Henrico Newsflash – November 30, 2022
‘Shopping for your future’
On the first floor of an abandoned section of the Regency Square Mall on a recent Monday morning, plastic sheeting covered the floor as construction workers installed bright fluorescent lights, put up rough white walls, and marked spaces for new pipes. Behind old, faded storefronts built in the 1970s, inside of abandoned big-box stores, and along the darkened hallways, a new project was taking shape.
The Regency Adult Education Center is a new initiative from Henrico County Public Schools’ Career and Technical Education program. It’s currently being constructed in an unused section of the Regency Square Mall, with old storefronts serving as the new sites of classrooms and other instructional facilities.
HCPS horticulture programs to hold holiday plant sales
