3 separate shootings leave Henrico HS student, 24-year-old man dead, home damaged
Three separate shootings in Henrico County three miles apart during a 5-hour period May 19 left a Henrico High School student and a 24-year-old man dead and a residence damaged.
Henrico Police do not believe the shootings are related, Police Lt. Matt Pecka told the Citizen Friday.
Black bear spotted in Henrico’s Far West End
A Henrico resident spotted a black bear in the county’s Far West End, according to Henrico Police.
The sighting happened in the Foxhall community in Short Pump, which backs up to the Little Tuckahoe Creek near the county’s western edge, about a mile or so south of the West Broad Street-North Gayton Road intersection.
