12 scholarships open to Henrico Schools seniors
Henrico Education Foundation scholarship applications are now available for Henrico County Public School seniors continuing their education beyond high school. The application deadline is April 12 at 11:59 p.m.
The 12 scholarships, offering a combined $45,700, honor former students, educators and elected officials, including the Lucia Whalen Bremer Memorial Scholarship, the Julia Budzinski Memorial Scholarship, the Lara Teague Curry Memorial Scholarship, and the The David A. Kaechele Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Henrico man, wanted for shooting family members, killed in NC police shootout
The man wanted for shooting his mother, sister, and little brother this week in Henrico County was killed in a shootout with law enforcement in North Carolina, Henrico Police and the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office shared Thursday.
